Andrea
is a JBuilder 5 plugin that makes easy to deploy J2EE
application to the ATG Dynamo Application Server version
5.1 & 5.5 (DAS).
Andrea is installed and run with the other JBuilder 5
plugins such as BEA WebLogicServer 5.1, BEA WLS 6, IBM
WebSphere 3.5, Borland AS 4.5 as well as Kelly (other
JBuilder 5 plug-in by Ingenosya for JOnAS 2.x).
Andrea provides many extra services
to JBuilder 5 java developers, such as
- Creating any XML deployment files
required by Dynamo AS 5.1 & 5.5
- Creating the SQL repositories
and queries needed by DAS to run the entity EJB BMP
or CMP mode .
- Running the full deployment of
any J2EE application to Dynamo AS 5.1 & 5.5.
- Hot loading and unloading of any
J2EE application to Dynamo AS 5.1 & 5.5.
- Controlling from JBuilder 5 the
DAS starting-up so that the DAS developer fully benefits
with the JBuilder 5 debugging services.
- Text editing and syntax coloring
of the DAS custom files (jHTML, DAS java server pages,
HTML ; jWML DAS WAP pages ; BMF ATG bean description
syntax)
- Moreover, the DAS word dictionnary
is supplied to JBuilder 5 in order to enhance the
JBuilder 5 text completion services.

is an OpenSource software by Ingenosya easy to use that
gives access to all JBuilder 5 features and services when
developing J2EE applications for Dynamo AS 5.1 .
Andrea is a friendly JBuilder
5 add-on when the J2EE application development team members
are not some experts in EJB deployment to Dynamo AS 5.1,
they will furthermore benefit with the JBuilder 5 team
features such as the source software sharing services.
Andrea makes JBuilder 5 the unique
environment needed for developing and testing J2EE applications
to ATG Dynamo AS 5.
